Stansted won the fifth Golden Charter Inter Village Bowls tournament at Birchanger Bowls Club on Saturday.
Teams from Radwinter, Duxford, Elsenham, Stansted, Birchanger and Clavering took part in a very close competition.
The final between Stansted and Birchanger was decided on the last end, with Stansted being the winners. Duxford were in third place, beaten to the final by Birchanger only by shot difference.
Team and individual prizes were awarded by sponsors H Peasgood & Son and Daniel Robinson & Sons.
