Grange Farm and Dunmow Runners (GFDR) was represented at two events on Sunday, the Berlin Marathon and the Saffron Walden 10k.

At the Berlin Marathon a world record of 2hrs 2mins 57secs was set by Dennis Kimetto of Kenya. He was followed two hours later by Gillian Robertson of GFDR in 4hrs 13mins 14secs.

Closer to home, three GFDR joined more than 200 competitors in the Saffron Walden 10k. For GFDR Jason Wintin was 20th in 41mins 50secs, followed by Gerard Geurts in 43min 27secs and Lauren Bowen in 1h 2min 9secs.

GFDR will be holding a 10 mile road race from Stebbing on November 9.
