RYANAIR has organised 15 extra flights to arrive at London Stansted from Germany ahead of the Champions League final at Wembley on May 25.

The airline claims to have been “inundated” with requests from Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund fans following the club’s defeats of Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Ryanair’s Robin Kiely said: “The Germans will invade England later this month and Ryanair has scheduled a total of 15 extra Champions League flights after our reservations centre was flooded with calls from Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund fans eager to witness the historic all-German final at Wembley.

“Ryanair will carry over 6,000 German football fans and our Champions League flights will ensure Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund supporters reach London to watch the all-German final.”

Ryanair’s Champions League final specials will depart Munich Memmingen at 18.00 on Friday 24th May and 09.45 and 09.50 on May 25.

The will be three return flights from London on May 26, departing at 13.35, 14.15 and 18.30.

Borussia Dortmund fans can travel from Dortmund at 20.15 on May 24 and 08.35 and 10.00 on May 25.

There will be three return flights from London to Dortmund on May 26, departing at 12.20, 14.50 and 18.50 plus an extra flight from London to Dusseldorf Weeze departing at 14.45 on May 26.

Ryanair has also scheduled an extra return flight between Nuremburg and London, departing at 12.35 on May 25 and returning on May 26 at 18.20.
