Aythorpe Roding: Gravatt set to lead
IT MAY be winter and bitterly cold outside but cricketers are already gearing up for next season.
Aythorpe Roding CC held its annual general meeting last week and the captains have now been selected for the 2011 season.
Nominations and votes were cast in the Bill Reeve Pavilion at the ground and the new elected officials are as follows:
Saturday 1st Eleven Captain – Paul Gravatt
Saturday 1st Eleven Vice-Captain – Richard Eaton.
Saturday 2nd Eleven Captain – Steve Simmonds.
Saturday 2nd Eleven Vice- Captain – Dave Anderson.

After a mid table finish for the first team last season, the Aythorpe boys will be looking to go better when spring comes around next year.
