Felsted School celebrated success in athletics once again at the U14 IAPS National Championships held in the Alexander Athletics stadium in Birmingham.
Harry Sturge, age 13, from High Easter, threw his way to become discus national champion, leaving competitors trailing with an impressive throw of 35.38m.
However, this was not his longest throw. Only the week before the talented teenager had set a new school record with a throw of 38.48m.
Harry’s abilities extend above and beyond his skill at the discus; he also picked up fourth place in the shot put, plays county hockey and rugby for the Independent Schools RFC The Lambs.
