Grange Farm & Dunmow Runners have brought a very successful cross-country season to a close after success in two leagues.

Both the men's and women's teams won the Division Two titles in the Essex Cross-country League, both winning promotion to Division One in the process.

In the veteran category the women’s team came third.

Individually, Sarah Williams was second in the ladies' V40 category while Hannah McIlvenna also took silver in the V45 group.

Third places were secured by Clare Hayes in the V50 category and Alistair Brown in the equivalent men's group.

In the Mid Essex League, both the senior and veteran men’s teams came first and the women’s teams both came second.

The club have also nominated their chosen charities to receive donations following successful runnings of their Felsted 10k and Stebbing 10 mile races.

They will give £1,000 to Transplant Sports, Happy Hill, and Headway Essex while £250 will go to both MacMillan and Challenge MND.
