Aythorpe Roding lost their second league game of the season when Rettendon visited Round Bush Green Ground and won by eight wickets.
Aythorpe batted first in the T Rippon Mid-Essex League Division One clash and lost three early wickets for 37 runs.
Opening bat Steve Chambers hit 39. He had some support from the middle order with Graham Milbank scoring 29 and Sam Blackman 20 before wickets started to fall quicky.
Aythorpe ended 138 all out in 36.1 overs.
Rettendon lost their first wicket for 13 runs, but a second wicket partnership of 92 between Huntingdon 72 not out and Bryant 50 put them in control. Leader hit 14 not out and saw his team reach 141-2 in 24.2 overs.
Liam Rosewell and Neil Culleton took a scalp each.
Aythorpe Roding travel to Bentley 2nds on Saturday.
