High Roding clinched promotion in their first season back after beating nearest rivals Great Bradfords 2-1 on Saturday.
Having reformed after many years, they took the lead on 25 minutes when Ben Smith netted with a towering header.
Bradfords drew level midway through the second half courtesy of a speculative shot from Kieron Scott and Roding missed a great chance when a penalty awarded for handball was saved.
But with time running out and Roding needing a win, a through ball found Smith, whose fierce shot was brilliantly saved by the keeper but fell for Myles Passley to slot into the net.
Despite some late nerves, Roding saw out the remaining minutes to secure a well-deserved victory.
And after losing three of their first four games of the season, Roding remained unbeaten for the rest of the campaign, dropping just one more point in a 2-2 draw with champions Roman Rovers on their way to being promoted.
