Linda Culleton spoke at the last WI meeting on the subject of acupuncture. Linda has 20 years experience of acupuncture with reiki healing and uses her home as a practice creating a relaxed and peaceful environment. Several members will be attending 'Tastes of Anglia' at Chilford Hall, Linton on March 10. It is also hoped to organise a visit to look around Denman College, which would include a home economics demonstration, coffee, lunch and afternoon tea, in May or June. Soap powder, soap and toilet rolls have been requested by George and Marion Mills for the Ukraine, by tomorrow (Friday). The Flitch Group meeting is on April 17, and the competition is to 'Make a Rabbit'. Various patterns are available. The next meeting is on Wednesday, March 14 Talberd Room of the Foakes Hall. The speaker will be John Newton on the subject of Lake Garda and the Dolomites.
