FASHION shop Wardrobe has scooped the cup for the best dressed window display during this year’s Dunmow Carnival.
The theme of the carnival this year was the Four Seasons, and owner Nikki Anthony and assistant Julie Hammond used the shop’s two double windows to depict all four seasons with clothes and props.
Mrs Hammond said she and her five-year-old son Thomas picked up fallen leaves from a nearby wood to ensure the autumn scene was perfect. Thomas’s toys also helped to depict the other three seasons.
The runner-up was haberdashers Lloyd Waters in Market Place which used knitted items to depict the four seasons.
The competition is run by Dunmow Carnival Procession Committee and the cup was presented last Thursday.
