A woman in her 60s was taken to hospital after a crash near Dunmow.
Emergency services were called to Chelmsford Road, Barnston, just after 1pm on Saturday (August 22) after a two-vehicle crash.
Firefighters, from Dunmow and Braintree, released a person trapped in one of the vehicles.
Two people were treated for minor injuries and one, a woman in her 60s, was taken to Broomfield Hospital, in Chelmsford, for further treatment.
