A woman was cut free from her vehicle by firefighters last night (April 19) after a crash between Little Dunmow and Felsted.
The three-vehicle accident occurred along Station Road just after 7pm, and two fire crews from Dunmow attended along with two crews from the East of England Ambulance Service.
Firefighters released the trapped woman by 7.56pm using specialist cutting equipment and she was left in the care of the ambulance service.
A man, in his 40s, was also treated at the scene for a head injury and both patients were taken to Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford.
