A woman in her 40s was in a critical condition after suffering a heart attack in Finchingfield on January 7.
Emergency services were called to Wethersfield Road in the village at 10.26am to reports of a woman who had suffered a cardiac arrest.
The East of England Ambulance Service sent an ambulance crew, rapid response vehicle and ambulance officer, and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were also in attendance.
The woman was taken by road ambulance to Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford and an ambulance spokesman confirmed she was in a critical condition.
