Wintry weather causes road accident

GRIM wintry conditions and a nasty bend probably combined to make the driver lose control of this car and skid off the road on Monday evening. The Rover 25 came off the road on a sharp left bend on Thaxted Road, coming into Saffron Walden. It was reported

The Rover 25 came off the road on a sharp left bend on Thaxted Road, coming into Saffron Walden. It was reported to Essex Police just before 11pm.

The car remained off the road until it was picked up by a recovery vehicle on Tuesday morning.

The woman driver was uninjured but suffered slight shock. No other vehicle was involved in the accident.
