THIS autumn the National Trust is launching a walking festival that celebrates the beautiful British countryside – and if you time it right then you’ll get to experience the beautiful browns, blazing reds and vibrant oranges, just before the leaves fall.
September and October is the perfect time of year for walking, with displays of autumn colour and nature spectacles such as deer rutting and bird migration. The great outdoors holds boundless opportunities to make great memories with family and friends that last a lifetime.
Hatfield Forest is hosting health walks every Thursday (starting at 9.45am) throughout September and October.
There will be a variety of intermediate healthy walks through the ancient medieval forest, so why not get out in the fresh air and join in?
