EIGHTY years of the Royal British Legion has been celebrated with a fundraising coffee morning.
Although the national organisation has been established for 90 years, the Wethersfield and Shalford branch was formed 10 years later.
The branch celebrated the milestone in Wethersfield Village Hall on Saturday, with coffee, cake and book stalls, and a raffle. There was also a giant celebratory cake, made by Andrew Overall, which was enjoyed by all those who attended.
The morning raised more than 230 for the branch.
