Wendens Ambo picture to be raffled for Poppy Appeal

A framed, original painting of Wendens Ambo by artist James Merriott, will be a raffle prize at Barnston Art Group’s exhibition at Barnston Village Hall on Saturday and Sunday September 3 and 4.

There will be craft stalls and refreshments all day and all proceeds from the charity raffle will go to the British Legion Poppy Appeal.

The work exhibited will include watercolours, oils, acrylics, and mixed media. There will also be a display of cards and unframed paintings for sale as well as cakes, jams, plants, textiles, gifts jewellery and vintage furniture.

From 10am to 5pm each day. Entry is free.
