STARS of the West End musicals and the legendary jazzman Kenny Ball wowed the crowds at two concerts over the weekend.
Kate Coysten, Sally Whitehead, Craig Turner, Carl Sanderson and Michael Cotton performed hits from Phantom of the Opera, Oliver, Grease and West Side Story on the Saturday night for more than 200 revellers.
Then on the Sunday Kenny Ball and his Jazzmen attracted a similar crowd. Standing ovations by the audiences finished both concerts.
Organiser Alan Goldsmith said: "They were truly fabulous events with many people demanding tickets for next year's shows. They were a sensational success."
All proceeds from the £2 car parking fee, totalling £500, will go to the restoration fund for St Katherine's Church in Little Bardfield.
