A WAR memorial which has stood unfinished for almost 40 years has finally been refurbished.

Great Easton and Tilty Parish Council commissioned the work to be done on the monument (pictured) in the centre of Great Easton.

As well as a lick of paint and weeding around the memorial, workers replaced posts and a surrounding chain which were removed in the 1970s.
