A RODING Village Hall fair raised more than £625 for the Essex Air Ambulance last Saturday afternoon. Craft, jewellery and refreshments were on sale along with tickets for a raffle and a tombola. Women were also able to have their nails painted for just £2, after a volunteer spent the afternoon running a manicure stall. Organiser, Diane Andersson said: "It was a very successful day, the response was great. We had around 100 people attend and everyone worked really hard to make it a wonderful day." The tombola raised £141 with Jan Clayden winning the star prize of a DVD player.
