UTTLESFORD MP Sir Alan Haslehurst turned out to help raise cash for a community hospital at its annual Autumn Fair.
Run by the League of Friends of Saffron Walden Community Hospital, in Radwinter Road, last Saturday, the event raised a creditable �345.
Secretary Dorothy Bartlett said: "We were very pleased to raise so much money, especially in this economic climate. We wish to thank everyone who supported us.
