A MOTORCYCLIST involved in a crash in Braintree this morning is described as critical but stable.
The crash happened around 7.10am (January 10) on Braintree Road at the junction with Jeffreys Road. A 25 year old motorcyclist from Witham received serious injuries and was air lifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
The other vehicle was a Ford Focus and the car driver, a 78 year old man from the Braintree area, was not injured.
Officers from the Central Road Policing unit at Bocking are continuing to investigate the circumstances leading up to the collision and any witnesses, who have not spoken to police, are asked to contact Ps Colin Shead on 101.
