TWO men have been injured following a shooting in Little Dunmow.
Armed officers and the Essex Police helicopter were scrambled to a travellers site in Gypsy Lane just after 9.45pm on Tuesday night (May 5) following reports of shots being fired.
One hour later the men were found in Great Dunmow High Street with head and shoulder lacerations. They were both taken to Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford and later discharged.
An Essex Police spokesman said: "We are searching for those who were responsible and we are keen to reassure local residents."
Police believe the attack was targeted, and said that the individuals involved knew each other.
