Scottish traditions were in full swing in Great Dunmow with a Caledonian Evening.
Scottish traditions were in full swing in Great Dunmow with a Caledonian Evening.
Members of the Dunmow/Dourdan Twinning Association celebrated Burns Night in style at the town’s day centre, on Saturday. Around 70 guests feasted on Haggis – piped in and addressed by Tom Gardener – with ‘neeps and tatties’.
Following the meal, guests enjoyed whisky and a sing-a-long.
Local Girl Guides were on hand to serve and clear away which greatly assisted the event running smoothly.
