One of the pieces is a late 16th century carving showing Herod and Salome. This is estimated for sale at £5,000-£7,000. There is also a 1905 silver and nephrite heart shaped box containing a bean from the Caribbean. The bean, swept by the Gulf Stream and deposited on a Scottish beach, was so treasured by the finder that they had the box made. It’s expected to fetch £300-500.
