Great Dunmow Carnival’s budget might not quite stretch to Ed Sheeran, however that hasn’t stopped them booking the next best thing.
An Ed Sheeran tribute act, known as The Ed Sheeran Experience, is one of many artists who will play at this year’s carnival on September 15.
Other performers confirmed are local band The Jjarrs, the Out Outs, the Real Swing Band, the Rock Choir, the Dunmow Majorettes, Scene II theatre school, the Kyokjushinkai Karate Club, the Rythm & Balls Circus and James Dean’s funfair. Local schools will also be performing and an Oasis tribute band.
The Dunmow Carnival queen with her princesses have started their tour of Essex carnivals, which will finish with the carnival in Dunmow. The queen and princesses have taken part in Braintree and Brightlingsea carnivals so far and will go on to Witham, Coggeshall, Maldon, Clacton, Walton and Wickford.
