DUNMOW ATC Squadron came in at third place in this year's annual Essex Wing Falklands Competition.

Following from the success of last year's results, when the squadron won the first aid section and represented the wing at the regional finals, the squadron, this year, moved from overall seventh place to third place.

The event included a weekend camping exercise where cadets were tested on navigation, camp craft, first aid, map reading and shooting. The Squadron will now go on to represent the Essex Wing of the Air Training Corps at an Inter-Service competition against the Army and Navy cadets.

The team of six cadets along with the rest of the squadron will be at this weekend's Dunmow Carnival helping with the organisation and working closely with the Dunmow Carnival Committee.
