Thieves steal van after breaking into Dunmow home

A van containing power tools and flooring, was stolen from a home in Dunmow.

Thieves broke into the house in Philpot End between 4.30pm on Wednesday, December 16, and 7.30pm on Thursday, December 17), by forcing open the front door.

They stole coats and Wellington boots as well as a black Vauxhall Vivaro van, registration EK11 FNY, from the driveway. The van contained a “considerable amount of hard wood flooring” and a number of power tools.
