THE GREAT Stansted Airport debate is set to kick off again next week, with the High Court in London set to begin hearing an appeal from airport owners BAA from Monday (October 19).
BAA will be fighting a ruling by the Competition Commission that it must sell three of its airports - Gatwick, Stansted and either Glasgow or Edinburgh.
The appeal into the decision delayed the start of a public inquiry into controversial plans for a second runway at Stansted which was due to begin earlier this year.
