EARLY-BIRD tickets are now on sale for the Stortford Music Festival which is being headlined by The Blockheads.
The festival, which will be held on Saturday May 1 and Sunday May 2, is likely to produce another record year for ticket sales.
With the main stage offering a diverse and exciting line up and with reduced ticket rates still available, the Stortford Music Festival offers excellent value for all music fans.
The Blockheads first formed in 1977 to promote Ian Dury's album 'New Boots and Panties' and their name came from a song on the album. Dury himself passed away in 2000 but the band has continued to play in his absence to huge audiences.

The second headliner will be double Ivor Novello Award winner Chris Difford who has been writing songs for more than 25 years, most notably with Squeeze.
After 13 albums, 32 American tours, 30 UK tours and a number of top 20 hits, he decided to go it alone. Difford's first solo album, 'I Didn't Get Where I Am....' was released in 2001. He continues to pass on his wealth of songwriting knowledge in workshops to encourage new writers.
