CHEERLEADERS from Great Dunmow have tumbled their way to national championship success.
The Rumblebees Allstars dashed down to Bournemouth last weekend to take part in the largest cheer competition in Britain – the Future Cheer National Championships. They managed to somersault away with a host of prizes including a five-foot trophy for becoming grand champions.
Head coach Phoebe Hammond said: “We are a hard working team and this is an amazing achievement.
“The winning prize for the seniors was not only the huge trophy but free entry for the team into competitions for the whole of the season, which totals over 20,000.”

Both had success as the youth group stunt team came first in their division and the Senior Coed level two team, made up of 30 boys and girls aged between 12 and 21, not only came first in their division but also beat 24 teams to the grand prize.
In August, the squad will be flying to America for a professional training camp, and anyone wanting to join in the fun and become a Rumblebee can take part in trials on July 10.
