Children enjoyed a pumpkin hunt, a bouncy castle, a spooky graveyard, and a gunge tank with goodies to collect at the bottom.
There were also prizes for the best costume at the Monster Mash on Saturday, October 29, and such was the success of the event that organisers are planning to extend the fun across two days next year.
Karen Ludford, event co-ordinator, said: “It was a really great day, the weather was on our side and everyone had a really good time.
“The great thing about this event is that it was low-cost and families with three children could come along and not spend a fortune.
“We had people ask if it we were going to do it on Sunday as well and next year we will run it for the whole weekend.”
