Marge Simpson and a parade of Spice Girls could be spotted in Dunmow on March 3, as they attended Great Dunmow Round Table’s annual charity event, which embraced a 90s theme and encouraged fancy dress.

The charity concert, held at Foakes Hall, raised more than £2,500 for the community, with band Lovin’ The 90s and DJ Pete Sparks performing and providing 90s nostalgia with tunes from Oasis, Happy Monday and 5ive.

Round Table chairman, Steve Eccles said: “The concert was a big success and everyone who came made a brilliant effort with their costumes. We have already had great feedback and we look forward for our next concert night next year. I’ve always been a big fan of 90s music so I’m over the moon with the response we have received.”

There was also a free photo booth for guests to take group snaps.
