Back by popular demand, the Shop Local Day in Dunmow is returning to the town next month.
The day is part of the Shop Local campaign which sees businesses offering discounts and promotions as a ‘thank you’ to shoppers.
Over the years, High Street has flourished with plenty of independent shops and now offers everything from home furnishings and clothes, to flowers and gifts.
The promotional offers are activated by showing a Shop Local Coin, which can be collected by signing up to the scheme.
To do this, visit one of the shops involved or email greatdunmowtownteam@gmail.com.

There is a fee of £1 to register and collect the coin, and Shop Local days will be held on the first Friday of each month.
