Dunmow Twinning Association held a Caledonian Evening on Friday at the Day Centre to mark Burns Night.
A group of 75 were there for the piping in of the haggis and were entertained with an illustrated whisky talk and tasting given by Willie Fraser, originally from Orkney, whose family have been part of Orkney’s pageants and whale hunting.
Mr Fraser is pictued here with twinning member Chris Barrett and his daughter, Sonia who carried in the haggis. The meal was prepared, cooked and served by the Dunmow Guides.
