FOR one night only a dance school put on a spectacular show that involved almost 170 youngsters performing an array of highly choreographed routines.

The Centre Stage Dance School, based in Great Dunmow, performed their dance extravaganza For One Night Only in front of a sold-out crowd in Bishop Stortford's Rhodes Arts Complex.

Fiona Messer, the group's fund-raiser, said: "The show received a great reaction from the crowd; everyone really enjoyed it."

Organised by co-owners of the school Phoebe Todd and Beverley Gilmour, Mrs Messer added: "They both have a superb ability to mix funky music with exciting choreography. It is very good to watch.

"I know both Phoebe and Beverley were delighted with how hard everybody had worked to put on the show."

From ages three to 18 the girls and boys performed routines that ranged from a Swan Lake medley to a cheerleading demonstration.
