Teachers and students rocked it out at a Battle of the Bands competition at the school.
The stage was alive at The Helena Romanes School, on Parsonage Downs, when both staff and pupils showed the audience how it is done.
The winning band, 33rpm featuring students Matt Troup, Darren Walker, Callum Drury and James Geddes, took inspiration from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Nirvana for their show.
Matt said: “The wide variety of performances on the night made it an excited atmosphere.”
The evening was judged by the school’s guitar teacher Mr Pollard.
