AT LONG last the plaque presented to the Rotary Club of Dunmow at their Diamond Jubilee celebrations in February 2009 has been put up at the entrance to the Saracens Head hotel.
Back in 2009 the Saracen’s Head was in administration but now has new owners, the Bespoke Hotel group and the future looks assured.
Rotary spokesman and member Peter Fox (pictured) said: “The present manager Rod Spring and his team have done a splendid job in keeping the hotel running through this difficult time and Dunmow Rotary continued to hold their Thursday lunchtime meetings throughout the period”.
The new plaque was a joint presentation to the club from three other Dunmow clubs namely the Inner Wheel, the Round Table and the 41club.
