SportsAid Eastern Region Awards Committee Chairman, Chris Dyer will present grants in the presence of Matt Fletcher and Simon Knight from Helena Romanes School and Dunmow Rotary Club President Richard 'Dick' Amott, at 12.30pm, on Thursday, January 25, at The Saracen's Head, Great Dunmow.
Cheques will be presented to the following Helena Romanes students, Stuart Fallas, Disabled Athletics Regional Grant of £400, Emma Fidge, Athletics Regional Grant £400, Steven Sewell, Cycling-BMX National Grant £500, Sarah Smith, Athletics National Grant £250 and Charlotte Wraith, Judo National Grant £500. The quality of these youngsters' accomplishments may lead to their involvement in the forthcoming Olympics teams.
