The Dunmow Branch of the RNLI held a Bridge Drive at the Dunmow Day Centre on Friday September 29. David Barber, the chairman, welcomed the guests. During the interval a fork supper was served which had been prepared by Kate Martin and the other lady members of the committee. With the help of donations from those who were unable to play, the raffle and the bar proceeds a profit of £1153 was made. The committee are very grateful for the generosity of all concerned. The next function that the branch is organising is a Dinner/Talk in the

Millennium Hall in Gt Saling on Saturday November 25 when Bill and Anita Miller will give an account of their Summer's Cruise around the UK in 2005 as part of the Trafalgar Anniversary Celebrations arranged by the Cruising Association.
