RESIDENTS have paid tribute to the hard-work and dedication of a town's chemists in the lead up to the beginning of the New Year.

Both Great Dunmow town centre pharmacies, Ropers and Yogi's, have been hailed by customers for their caring approach in serving consumers.

One user Susan Smith told The Broadcast: "I would like to pay tribute to the dedication of our town chemists. Often throughout the year I call on the knowledge, experience and professionalism of Anup and his staff and Yogi's. His concern for the customer is more important than a quick sale.

"Just after Christmas last year when I visited Roper's in the High Street for 'flu' remedies, Rohini who served me was also suffering and yet was still keeping up the same expected standards.

"It is reassuring to have this kind of service in Dunmow."
