A cyclist has been seriously injured today (August 19) in Rayne after being struck by a car, which did not stop at the scene.
The man, who is in his 40s, was taken to Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford, after being knocked from his bicycle in School Road, just before 12.30pm.
Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision to contact 101 quoting incident 413 of August 19.
The man’s injuries are not thought to life threatening.
