A FUNKY evening of music, dance, cabaret and comedy is being held in Little Easton to mark the launch of a children's entertainment charity.
The Laughter Specialists are entertainers specially trained in bringing fun and laughter to the sick and vulnerable. They work in hospitals, hospices, SEN centres and schools.
To promote the laughter specialists and raise some much needed cash, a party is being held at Barn Theatre, Little Easton Manor on Saturday September 19, starting at 7.30pm.
Laughter Specialists fundraiser, Lynne Baker, said: "We are aiming to bring together people from the local area to have an evening of socialising and having fun.
"The intention, of course, is to raise money for the laughter specialists who put a smile on the face of children who in most cases don't have a lot to smile about. It's amazing that the effect of laughter can have a real impact on the recovery and well being of sick children.
"We hope that all those who attend will feel that as well as raise money for a great cause they have had an evening of entertainment which was actually really good value for money."
