More than a dozen Harley-Davidsons escorted one student to Forest Hall School’s prom on Friday.
Elisha Porter, riding in an American muscle car surrounded by the iconic motorcycles, was one of many students who wanted to finish off the year in style.
The Year 11 pupils, who were greeted by large crowds, arrived at Weston Homes Conference Suite in Takeley in an array of stretch limosines, Hummvees and even a Ferrari. Putting an even bigger twist on traditional prom arrival, Rosie James rode her father’s Lambretta side-saddle to the event. As well as impressive modes of transport, the school leavers made sure to wow with their outfits too; Beth Brindley donned a purple outfit complete with a top hat and black wig, while James Sexstone arrived in a green suit made of velvet.
A spokesman for the school said: “It was a really magical night and students and staff had a wonderful time.”
