Obedient dogs and their owners from Thaxted and Barnston were presented with certificates for completing training last week.
Trainers were taking part in The Good Citizen Dog Scheme, which is the largest of its kind in the UK,
The district’s animal warden, Sue Knight, also gave the pooches their rosette – which shows they completed the training.
All dogs are welcome at the scheme, which promotes responsible dog ownership by teaching owners in everyday situations.
