Police appeal for witnesses to Takeley burglary

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a burglary in Takeley on Friday afternoon. (March 15)

Unknown suspects forced their way into a house on Elm Close via a kitchen door at the back of the property between 12:20pm and 5:45pm.

Nothing was stolen but a messy search was made.

Anyone with information or who saw anyone acting suspiciously is urged to contact Pc Liz Young at Braintree CID on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
