Police have appealed for information after two incidents of vandalism forced car owners into paying for damages.

Police have appealed for information after two incidents of vandalism forced car owners into paying for damages.

The first incident took place in Chaffix, Felsted on March 28 at 8pm.

According to neighbourhood watch data provided by Essex Police, someone who is yet to be identified scratched the victim’s Range Rover by drawing on the car with chalk.

Another car vandalism was recorded to have happened in Brocks Mead, Great Easton, on April 6 at 10pm.

An unknown suspect has thrown a slate-type rock, causing damage to the rear window of victim’s white Vauxhall Corsa.

The car was parked on the victim’s driveway when the incident happened. The vehicle has been damaged in this way twice in only three weeks.
