Beautiful gowns and dapper suits – as well as a kilt – replaced school uniforms as Year 11 pupils from The Helena Romanes School held their Proms, last Thursday.
Almost 200 students gathered at the stunning setting of Parklands, in Quendon, for the occasion.
The drizzly weather could not dampen the mood, and spirits were high as the teenagers celebrated with a three-course meal followed by a night of dancing.
Lauren Baker, assistant director of learning for Year 11 at HRS, said: “It was a wonderful evening. The students were brilliant and really enjoyed themselves.
“We would like to thank the venue and sponsors, P&A Wood, for making it such a special night.”
