DUNMOW pantomime group will be performing its version of Aladdin this year at Foakes Hall from January 1 for five nights.

The group has been performing for 50 years and is proud to say that this year's show will be their finest, promising 'dames, jokes and girls as blokes' - so much so they are hoping for a full house on each day.

Belinda Savill, one of the group's organisers, said: "Everyone is welcome to come and see the show, we promise some hilarious madness and traditional panto at its best."

Boys and girls aged seven and upwards from Dunmow Theatre Group will be dancing on stage.

Tickets are available for afternoon matinees on January 1 and 5 at 2pm and 5pm and evening shows from 7.30pm.

For more details or to buy tickets call Belinda Savill on 01371 810814.

Alternatively, you can visit the box office at the Starlite Dance shop, Market Place, Great Dunmow.
