Training officer Lisa Wallace said: “For the cadets of Dunmow Squadron, it has been a busy three months full of fun and achievement. They have seen joint cadet achievement in the postal shoot competition, coming sixth out of 26, as well as personal achievements with two cadets gaining squadron and regional marksman badges.
“The squadron has also seen the promotion of two cadets, Aaron Martin & James Sawyer to the rank of Corporal, along with two new members of staff and have also gained a squadron chaplain.”
The squadron is enrolling five new cadets on Thursday April 26 before a team of six will complete in the Falklands Memorial Trophy – the competition has events designed to test similar skills to those used in combat.
